Temas en la Votación de la Ciudad Spokane
Dependiendo de su lugar de residencia, es posible que en su papeleta figure una de las elecciones municipales que se indican a continuación.
When a loved one is having a heart attack, the last thing to be worrying about is whether the firefighters and ambulance services have enough funding to arrive quickly. That's why the City of Spokane has proposed Proposition 1, a six-year $8 million amount levy that funds about 90 Emergency Medical Services positions, or one-third of the Spokane Fire Department. It will also help pay for fire trucks and paramedic units, medical supplies, EMS training, vehicle maintenance, and more. The estimated levy rate remains the same at $.50 per $1,000 of assessed value on your property taxes. Vote YES for Spokane Emergency Medical Services.

Spokane Fire Protection District
The Spokane Fire Protection District is proposing Proposition 1, a two-year, approximately $7.3 million Replacement Maintenance and Operation Levy. After last year's deadly windstorm, a YES vote is critical on this levy, as it generates 40% of the budget for the fire district, covering such essential services as 24/7 staffing, paramedics, and emergency medical services. The levy rate is about $1.80 per $1,000 of assessed value on your property tax.
