    Vote YES for Everett Schools

  • Everett schools are growing at a rapid rate. More than 2,000 students are expected to join the school system in the next seven years. That is why voters are being asked to approve Propositions 1 and 2, a Replacement Capital Levy and a Bond for Everett Schools. The $89 million levy includes safety and security upgrades, new computers, upgrades to science, technology, engineering, and math labs, 10 new portables to relieve overcrowding, and more. The $149 million bond will help with numerous building improvements--from a new elementary school to renovations of both North Middle and Woodside Elementary schools. If both the capital levy and bond are approved, the tax rate is projected to be $5.86 per $1,000 of property value. Vote YES for Everett schools.
